Questions

Things parents ask

How do online lessons work?

Every lesson is live on Google Meet. When you book, a calendar invite with the video link goes straight to your email and calendar (and to your teacher's), so there's nothing to install and nothing to remember.

What time zone are the lesson times in?

The booking calendar automatically shows times in your own time zone, whether you're in Dubai, Doha, Riyadh or anywhere else. Kinglet is based in Mallorca, and availability is set to suit Gulf after-school hours.

Why do I see prices in my own currency?

Prices are shown and charged in your local currency (AED, SAR, QAR, GBP and 100+ more) so there are no surprise conversion fees from your bank. The exact amount is confirmed on the secure Stripe checkout page before you pay.

Can siblings or friends share a lesson?

Yes — small-group lessons for two to five children are available and priced per lesson, not per child, which works brilliantly for siblings or a few friends at a similar level.

What if we need to reschedule?

You can reschedule with 48 hours' notice to any available slot (or with 4 hours' notice if a child is ill and you attach a doctor's note). Inside that window the lesson is charged, as the slot is held for you.

Which curriculum do you follow?

Primary lessons follow the English National Curriculum and are tailored to what your child is doing at school. English and Spanish lessons are built around the learner's level and goals.

Not sure which lesson is right?

Send a quick message about your child's age, school and what you'd like help with, and Sophie will suggest the best fit — usually within a day.
